A rare original watercolour showing Black Mill on the Westwood, Beverley. I love this watercolour, it is on heavyweight paper and measures 22 x 15 inches 9 half imperial ). It captures a sense of the Westwood in summer, two walkers are talking as they pass bye. The grass is pale and bent over by the typical westerly wind. The goal post speaks of a time when football matches were played most weekends.
