Cobdale corner with High Barn Farm, Warter Estate.

A plein air painting of Cobdale corner, on the road to Huggate from Warter. The farm in the distance is High Barn. The hedges are bare, yet laden with berries. Winter is beginning to bite, the sky is active, ranging from dark angry grey to pale grey with cerulean blue patches peeking through at times. A nearby shoot reveals itself not by sound so much as the silhouetted shadows of beaters, standing like an Anthony Gormley sculpture. Motionless, still, then becoming animated and moving off.
Available for sale though it will need some time to dry before I varnish it.
