Fairy Dale, large A2 print.

This is taken from an original plein air painting. The owl appeared just as I finished, and rather like Turner with his buoy, I ‘slodged’ it in quickly. It is essentially a simple painting that so accurately captures the essence of the dry Wolds valleys.
