I produced this painting from a sketch made when standing near the memorial hall. It was autumn time and the road was covered in orange and brown leaves. The view towards Saint Mary’s Tower always looks interesting especially in the autumn along this road. I also wanted to include the tall tree on the corner of Champney Road.
