The view showing the trees at Loaningdale juction will be familier to people driving up from Warter. The area is quietly beautiful though in winter can offer challenges as the weather can sometimes hit the area hard. David Hockney painted some trees not far from here and will have seen these as he passed by. I intend to revisit this area and repaint the scene in different seasons as David has done ( Trees near Thixendale ). The painting can be viewed by arrangement, and reserved without obligation. It will be thoroughly dried and varnished by the end of January.
