Thixendale path, 3x2 feet, original.

A large, 36x24 inch oil on canvas from March 2023. This painting shows the spring time with emerging dark green crops, the tree are still bare but about to spring into life. The hillsides are covered in dead grass with little green yet showing. In the distance sheep can just be seen, soon , as the weather improves we will see more sheep out covering the hillsides. This painting was started late in the afternoon and I have used my limited palette of just the three primary colours plus white.
