Beverley Minster Secret Garden 14x10 inch, oil on canvas board

The secret garden at Beverley Minster, is an oasis of sensory calm. A dedicated volunteer group of gardeners have created a wonderful environment for people to visit, sit and relax. Flowers, fruit trees,a pond and a delightful potting shed create a piece of heaven. This painting is hopefully, one of a series I hope to make which will feature the varied elements, thus providing a record of this special place. Today I met an old friend and her daughter who was a student at BGS. I was so pleased to add a suggestion of one of her children who was busy exploring this safe place.
