Trees at Loaningdale, nr Warter. Print

These trees are the head of a woodland belt and stand on the Loaningdale Road. Nearby are Loaningdale cottages, which overlook the hidden Loaningdale valley. The junction is at the top of the Bailey Dale road from Warter and stands impressively against the southern sky. Not far away are the trees David Hockney painted as a 'Bigger Picture' Like David I will revisit this place and paint them in the changing seasons, which will be an interesting challenge and make me really 'look' at them. The original oil paintings for this were two 3x2 feet canvases and I have merged them to create this print. The original canvases are also on sale in my online shop.
